In brief

Lots of good trades today as I hit +£190 from last week, up around £130 on the day. Plenty of ups and downs as per usual Halep being a great bet. Backed at both 6-0 in a set and a second set winner, and she came through in flying colours against Min. Then she played a second match of the day and won convincingly with -3.5 games cleaning up v Candela, 6-2 6-1. The liquidity was shocking again and so could only match a half decent amount, but this -3.5 was there for the taking.

Flipkens is always heart in your mouth stuff, and today was no different. Trying to trade her is a practical impossibility. She creates so many openings but also blows a lot, and it's probably best to back her after her usual set down nonsense, only for her to come back to virtually the brink of victory, before doing her best to throw the thing away again. She has been removed from Shit List to Jury's Out though after her shambles prior to Hampton, where she did spectacularly throw that one; so there's progress there at least.

In the cricket the game between NZ and Aus was abandoned, which was probably a good thing as D/L would have smashed NZ chasing the Aussie target.

And a last bet of the night netted £40 profit with Las Palmas scoring a 85th minute equaliser to land a +0.5 against Almeria. Jumped on around the 60-65 minutes at 3.03.
