Today's insight. Daniel Evans, Simona Halep and England Cricket included

Glad I bailed on Atletico MG last night as they went down to Santos 0-1, even though they had two goals disallowed. For today proper then, there's a few bits and pieces that I may focus on. I'll be checking the football in play out although there isn't much on in all honesty. There's an Egyptian game on between Sakandary and Daklyeh in which both teams may attack, so there could be an opportunity for trading goals. At 4.30pm there's a host of Finnish games on, in which again there may be goals and +0.5 opportunities if the favourites go behind early.

Gulbis is 2.75 to beat Tommy Haas today due on court from 4.30pm onwards, so any Gulbis fans may look to back him at this price. Querrey-Hewitt may be a lively encounter and there shouldn't be much between then on the exchanges. Remember Hewitt beat Dimitrov yesterday and is a grass past master. Three sets maybe?

I'll tell you one bet I fancy and that's Britain's Daniel Evans to beat Del Potro. You can have a look at the straight win at around 8.8, or with a +4.5 games handicap 2.02. That's a 6-4 6-4 loss, and still a winning bet. Personally I'll be looking to lay Del Potro from the off, £50 will put your liability at £6.50, and you should always be ahead of the curve should Evans start well. Remember he beat the tough Nieminen in three sets yesterday. Del Potro has lost 4 of his last 7 games and I don't know, but he just looks unfit to me.

And looks at all these to be traded -

Say what you like about women's tennis, but there are huge opportunities to trade. Madison Keys seems to be finding a little form beating Jamie Hampton last round, a very big win for her. She has the power she just needs to be more consistent and keep balls in play. So I'll be doing some more research into her match with Marthel, but 1.72 looks good to me for a SP.

Halep and Jankovic will be in action too in Nurnberg and the hope is that Halep starts slowly to get in on her in-play. But, she has started like an absolute train the last two matches and completely blitzed Candela in 53 minutes yesterday. A loss of service early on will be like gold dust, failing that the hope is that Voskoboeva serves first, wins, and Halep increases to around 1.4/1.45. This would then be a great price if you want to take a position as early as possible. Halep is currently 1.32 to win from the off.

And England play Sri Lanka at 1pm, again this one is probably best left to watch for a while. 1.61 for England isn't great, but they will undoubtedly play their home conditions better. An early wicket for Sri Lanka would be good, or a decent Sri Lanka start with the bat could see England drift to 1.8s if you want an England angle.
