The 'Macho Man' Randy Savage v Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat, Wrestlemania III. The Best Wrestling Match Ever!

Has Madison got the Keys?

I'm not going to sugar coat it, I can't believe how some of these women tennis players are as high as they are in the rankings. Radwanska is one such player. She seems so inconsistent and doesn't seem to have the power game to compete with other big hitters, so how is she there? Well she is crafty if nothing else. She also relies on the woman on the other side of the net hitting repeated unforced errors (which most women do as a pastime). But I feel that Madison Keys is a different animal these days. As well as her power she has added a fair bit of mental toughness to her game. I think she;'s gotten over that 'teenager transition' and is now becoming a women. Win, lose or draw today, I'm going to watching her odds very closely over the next few years, I think she'll be an immediate future top ten.

With all that being said, Radwanska is the favourite here. This match will be won and lost not on Radwanska, I don't think she can dictate this game on grass, but on Madison Keys and in particular her serve. Keys is 3/1 to win the match. I find this borderline incredible. Believe me, Keys can wipe out Radwanska in straights her today. But the occassion is big, and this may affect her. Time will tell. The safer bet for me would be Keys +4.5 games at 1.90 (this was of last night, Bet365, odds may change). Keys has the protection of 6-4, 6-4, and if she wins a set (which I believe she will) then the handicap should land lovely. Another telling stat is that Radwanska lost to Robson in Madrid early in May 6-3 6-1, and whilst Keys doesn't have the same class (but not much in it) as Robson, they are both similar players that can hurt you with a power game.

The 2nd Test between the Lions and Australia kicks off at 11.05, and I'm dying to get on it. But the truth is, is that this match is so finely balanced that I can't call it. Australia should have won the 1st Test but I'm fearful of their kicking. The Lions will know that a win here seals the series, so all the pressure is on the Aussies. These penalty points could be crucial and I'm expecting a +/- 5 pointer either way; it's all on the day and perhaps a lucky bounce of the ball here and there.

I'm also going for a morning clash between the Tigers and the Storm. -3.5 for the Storm seems a little generous. They lost their last game and will be looking to bounce back strongly.

Madison Keys +4.5 games, 1.90.
Melbourne Storm -3.5 pts, 1.80.

Nitty gritty time at Wimbledon.

Dimitrov and Zemlja are still locked in battle from yesterday with Zemjla leading 9-8 in the last on Dimitrov's serve. Dimitrov was layed yesterday and so this could turn a nice profit. Lots of interesting matches though but the question remains is can these 'upsetters' turn in another performance or did they peak with their giant killing?

Murray plays Robredo later today and as usual is priced at around 1.03. I see Gulbis-Verdasco as on opening. Gulbis is one of those players you are never quite sure what you're going to get, but he's at 1.84 on Betfair and that is good enough for me. Gulbis' problem has always been his frustration levels get the better of him, but there's no doubting he borders on genius at times.Another problem with him is his rich kid attitude. If he can find the motivation consistently enough, he'll go places.

Robson plays today too and the market has substantially over-reacted with her pricing; 1.12 is a borderline joke. Yes she has the game to hurt most players, but a swing from 3.00 to 1.12 is ridiculous so I won't touching it.When Robson's serve is firing she is fabulous. Her serve in her first match was like clockwork. Look for openings to lay her if you sense that the serve will falter.

Stephens-Cetkovska will be a cracker I reckon and a match that ought to be enjoyed without any pressure. Stephens is a star in the making many believe so it will be an interesting match against a form horse.

My opening in the women's draw today is Carla Suarez Navarro-Bouchard. Bouchard beat Ivanovic last round which I don't really care about it, she's one of those over-hyped glamour girls in my opinion. Since losing in Madrid, Navarro has lost just 3 times out of 14, once to Serena Williams, once to Errani, and once to the super in-form Simona Halep. That's not bad, that's not bad at all. Suarez Navarro is around the 1.96 mark.

The Chiefs also host the Hurricanes in Super XV and I reckon they'll win by over 8.5pts.

Suarez Navarro, 1.96.
Gulbis, 1.84.
Chiefs -8.5pts, 1.93.

The end is here

So our Simona crashes and burns out of Wimbledon to Lady Boy Li Na. What a strange match it was! Na was too strong in the first winning 6-2, then Halep won the 2nd set 6-1 for Li to strike back 6-0. That's women's tennis (ridiculous at times) in a nutshell. So the bookie call of around 1.66 was absolutely spot on it seems.

Today's thoughts

Yesterday proved a very nice day as Watson was defeated by Keys (both SP and in-play) and Robson (yes I know) beat Kirilenko. Now, I know I'm a massive advocate of auto-laying anything British but Robson was 3.00, which in anybodies language is way too high for a person with her capabilities, on her day. Kirilenko just never got going and Robson played some outstanding stuff.

Today then, Verdasco is probably my stand out bet in the men's. He's playing Benneteau who for some reason the bookie made joint favourite here. The price on Verdasco has already come in 11 ticks form 2.00 (which I got on) and expect it to further fall before the match.

Other intriguing matches will be Slaone Stephens, Robredo-Mahut and Gulbis-Tsonga. Gulbis is 4.33 which I do think is probably too high. Tsonga on his day is awesome, but he can fluctuate between the brilliant and the seemingly can't be arsed.

Verdasco, 2.00.

Chris Stroud holes a chip to force a play-off. Ken Duke was leader, eventually won on 2nd hole in Travelers Championship

Ken Duke was leading by one as Chris Stroud chipped in to force a play-off. As in exchange betting Duke dipped to 1.01 and 1.02 when this happened.

I backed Duke at 1.7 quite heavily and so it was dagger through the heart stuff when Stroud landed this killer blow. The first hole of play-off was tied, par each, but Ken Duke hit a masterful wedge within two feet of the pin to seal the win.

What was even more funny was Bubba Watson's break down and squabbles with his caddy. This guy is just one blubbering blubber and choked her in huge fashion.

Sports betting - We love it, even though it's heart attack inducing stuff

The last few days have highlighted once again just how difficult sports betting is in spectacular fashion. First up was the NBA Finals Game 6 between the Miami Heat at home against the Spurs. Late in the third quarter, the Heat were dead and buried. San Antonio had opened up a THIRTEEN point lead and even by the Heat's standard for pulling back games late in the day, this seemed impossible as San Antonio were in complete control. James had been rather quiet, Bosh non existent, Wade just normal and Tim Duncan was on fire. There seemed no way back.

Unbelievably, three quarters of the way through the fourth and the Heat managed to lead the ball game by three, before the game was tied up at 89 apiece. What happened next was legacy inducing stuff. James had taken the fourth quarter by storm, in defence and offence whilst Bosh had come into the game more and more. Ginobli was having an absolute stinker for the Spurs and literally everything he touched turned to shit. Through a series of free throws, San Antonio had edged ahead to a seemingly invincible position, they were 94-89 up and the Heat were running out of ideas fast. Step up big Lebron; he nailed a three pointer when all else wasn't on. 94-92 Spurs. Spurs then again went to the free throw line, and converted only 1/2, on such tight issues do Championships get decided!

This is what happened next -
'Fans make noise. Leonard's first free throw? NO GOOD. Worst case scenario, the Heat could tie this with a three. Second free throw. Good. Three point game. Ball is in Chalmers's hands.. no good. Bosh rebound. Ray Allen hits a three! OH MY GOD'
It's why we love sports and sports betting. The ball just ran the Heat's way, and in the most unbelievable scripting ever, Ray Allen hits the most unbelievable pressured 3 pointer ever to take it to overtime.

In the end, the Heat ran out winners, and my +6.5 handicap Spurs bet landed....just...after being 13 points up (which is 19.5 points with handicap) at one stage. The Spurs were devastated.

Roll on last night.

Italy played Japan in a Confed Cup game, Japan smash Italy for four fifths of the first half going into an early 2-0 lead, before Italy strike back to 2-1 before HT. Then Italy go 2-2. Then Italy take the lead. Then Japan counter back with some brilliant football to make it 3-3. Then, with their backs against the wall Japan hit the post, then a rebound, then hit the bar. Then Japan had a goal disallowed.....you couldn't make it up. AND THEN FINALLY....in the dying seconds of the match, Italy with their only decent attack of the 2nd half score to make it 4-3 and to seal an improbably win!

Heart attack inducing stuff indeed, and a very clear reminder that you should only bet what you can afford to lose. In both these scenario's above, literally anything could have happened. But what a pair of games! Sport at times is just so glorious. Especially if you're on the good end of the bet!

South Korea v Iran

Asian World Cup Qualifying, 1pm.
BTTS Yes, 2.24.

This is a very interesting match. Tempers have already flared up before kick off with both teams firing salvos at the other. There will be huge tension as top of the table South Korea will look to cement their place with a minimum of a draw to qualify. However, Uzbekistan play Qatar and if they win they will be in contention for automatic qualification. Iran are going to have to assume that Uzbekistan will beat Qatar, and so they themselves will have to come out swinging. I can see a South Korea goal, and with Iran having to go out in a positive fashion and with the tensions surrounding the game, there could be a goal for both teams.

Stosur v Petrova

WTA Aegon International, 1.30pm.
Petrova, 1.91.

Morning thoughts. Taaahhhhiiittiiii baby

Ended up a bumper day yesterday as the Tahiti-Nigeria game was everything s bettor could dream of. Lumped on over 3.5 goals, then in-play lumped on 2 goals more than the current score for lower stakes throughout (4.5, 5.5, 6.5) before trading a lovely unders position on 7.5, and cashing the last bet out.

There was one incredible balls up though where I managed to corner myself into a position where I overloaded on the originally un-backed player.....work than one out.....I just couldn't believe it. I was basically trying to be way too cute in-play in a market of low liquidity, so it was a massive lesson learned. Anyway, we live and learn. From now on my position will be taken pre or in-play, but no reverse trading after that, it's too risky with the potential to go disastrously wrong.

As for today, I'll be looking at the tennis again. Petrova has come in from evens to around 1.83; I've backed her at 1.91. At the moment this is my only position but I'll be following the games throughout the day.

The British and Irish Lions face the Brumbies today, but I'm staying away. I got stung last time out against the Waratahs (+23.5) points and you never know about effort levels/motivation/player availability on these tour games. If you want a dabble here, the handicap line is around 10 points start to Brumbies.

Miami Heat @ San Antonio Spurs

NBA Finals Game 5, 1am.
Miami Heat, 1.95.

Morning thoughts. Some in depth Halep analysis, Vekic and some in-play trades

Well what can you say about my girl Simona Halep. Backed at the start of the Nurnberg tournament at 7/1 she comes through it with flying colours as well as amassing me a nice profit in play through the tournament. I said it months ago.....this girl is going places. She burst onto the junior scene but regressed for a number of reasons. Playing against the top players, issues surrounding her breasts that she felt were restrictive on her game, and perhaps a dip in confidence at the highest level saw her slip down the rankings. But seemingly with all these things sorted, she is surging up the table.

"I said it months ago....this girl is going places"

Here's the Halep resurgence -

The problem Simona had after the dip in form was that a crash in rankings means much tougher games at each event in the early rounds. It wasn't that she was playing badly, just that she kept getting sickening draws against a whole host of top ten players. Without having the full facts with me now, she literally bumped into brilliant players in a whole series of tournaments. It's the catch 22, to get up the rankings you need a break, and she wasn't getting any.

Look from the 4th May though. I reckon Simona must have said enough is enough after losing to Schiavone and then Dominguez Lino. The only blots on the copy book have been a finals loss to Williams (and who wins those) and a disappointing first round Roland Garros loss to the very tricky Carla Suarez Navarro in which she took the first set. The seedings were very disappointing, and Halep couldn't have had a worse draw than the feisty Argentina who is a true match player. Halep would no doubt have gone further than Navarro, but it wasn't to be.

But this week Simona has shown her world class. She really has the game to get into the top ten and compete for tournament finals. A super effort lately, from a very talented young woman. Her ground strokes are magnificent, she can go long in rallies or be aggressive. She is young and can go the distance and she is working on the mental toughness when being down in tricky situations. She won the first set 6-3 against Safarova and lost the second set 6-0 before again turning the match on its head. It's these situations that Halep seems to be working out with each and every match. She's definitely on my betting radar with each and every match now.

Another one to watch is Donna Vekic. She is 16 and is already a handful. Today she plays in the Aegon Classic Final against Hantuchova and at 2.26, I may have a look at that. Even better perhaps is to wait in play, and see if Hantuchova serves first to eek out a couple more ticks. This match starts at 1pm, really looking forward to it.

Elsewhere, Federer is in a final against Youzhny and Murray plays Cilic in another. The only recommendation here is an in-player if either goes a set down. Even then, you may be risking it for a biscuit.

There will be plenty of in-play football trades I'm sure, and England will be playing New Zealand in the cricket in a must win game. Weather may again be a factor here, so I reckon it's best to stay clear of this unless there is a clear profit making opening.

Rugby and Tennis

Halep v Petkovic.
Halep, 2.52.

Rybarikova v Vekic.
Vekic, 2.14.

Waratahs v British Lions
Waratahs, +23.5 points, 1.99.

Morning thoughts

I'm not touching much today, as I already have a couple of open positions. Nicolas Colsaerts wasn't brilliant yesterday, but at least he's in the mix and I'm set to just enjoy his role in the closing stages. Simona Halep, who I backed pre-tournament and throughout, is playing in the final today in Nurnberg against Petkovic and I reckon she has a great chance. Halep is currently 2.5 and I may just have a look at that.

Vekic is again in action today (tipped brilliantly by @tennisratings yesterday). She is playing the conqueror of Madison Keys yesterday 6-3 6-1. This was a little surprising as Keys, although she can blow hot and cold, hit a little patch of form. Vekic is 2.14 and I may jump on again.

The Lions are playing the Waratahs today and this is kind of interesting. The handicap line is +23.5 points for the Waratahs. I'll need to do some research into their team line-up, but this looks half decent. In the cricket, Indian are 1.63 favourites, but I won't be touching it. You never know when Pakistan will turn up and they could just as easily smash India today.

Morning thoughts - Miami Heat beat Spurs and the Officials and today's insight

A brilliant display by Miami Heat last night ensured they go 2-2 against the Spurs. Quite a tense game up until half time, where the Spurs shot into an early 15-5 lead before the Heat countered with being 10 points up themselves halfway through the 2nd quarter. But a response this time from the Spurs saw the score locked at 49-49 at HT. The Heat then pushed the turbo button through the second half and in particular the last quarter with James, Bosh and the awesome Dwayne Wade scoring at will. James (32), Wade (32) and Bosh (20) ensured that the Heat won a tipped 1.96 bet in convincing fashion. Not only did the Heat beat the Spurs by a 16 point margin, they also beat the officials who seemed hell bent on giving San Antonio a foul every play. They were disgraceful in truth, and kept the Spurs within arms distance throughout until the 'Big Three' pushed for the win late on.

Not much football to go on today, got burnt with a few shite games yesterday so staying completely away. Will probably look to trade in the tennis but again the men's is difficult to call. On grass some underdog big servers can turn a match pretty quick and the uncertainty is increased. I'll be following Hewitt with excitement mind after he's dismissed Dimitrov and Sam Querrey yesterday. Here's the pick of today's games -

Halep needs a win today in the semi-finals to guarantee some profit, tipped pre-tournament E/W at 7/1. And I always love watching Madison Keys too, she's a tasty 1.72 (higher on the exchanges) to beat Rybarikova.

Miami Heat @ San Antonio Spurs

NBA Finals Game 4, 2am.
£50, Miami Heat, 1.96.

Tony Ansell's US Open Swimming Competition!

Daniel Evans v Del Potro

ATP London, 1pm.
Lay Del Potro, £50 @ 1.13.

Today's insight. Daniel Evans, Simona Halep and England Cricket included

Glad I bailed on Atletico MG last night as they went down to Santos 0-1, even though they had two goals disallowed. For today proper then, there's a few bits and pieces that I may focus on. I'll be checking the football in play out although there isn't much on in all honesty. There's an Egyptian game on between Sakandary and Daklyeh in which both teams may attack, so there could be an opportunity for trading goals. At 4.30pm there's a host of Finnish games on, in which again there may be goals and +0.5 opportunities if the favourites go behind early.

Gulbis is 2.75 to beat Tommy Haas today due on court from 4.30pm onwards, so any Gulbis fans may look to back him at this price. Querrey-Hewitt may be a lively encounter and there shouldn't be much between then on the exchanges. Remember Hewitt beat Dimitrov yesterday and is a grass past master. Three sets maybe?

I'll tell you one bet I fancy and that's Britain's Daniel Evans to beat Del Potro. You can have a look at the straight win at around 8.8, or with a +4.5 games handicap 2.02. That's a 6-4 6-4 loss, and still a winning bet. Personally I'll be looking to lay Del Potro from the off, £50 will put your liability at £6.50, and you should always be ahead of the curve should Evans start well. Remember he beat the tough Nieminen in three sets yesterday. Del Potro has lost 4 of his last 7 games and I don't know, but he just looks unfit to me.

And looks at all these to be traded -

Say what you like about women's tennis, but there are huge opportunities to trade. Madison Keys seems to be finding a little form beating Jamie Hampton last round, a very big win for her. She has the power she just needs to be more consistent and keep balls in play. So I'll be doing some more research into her match with Marthel, but 1.72 looks good to me for a SP.

Halep and Jankovic will be in action too in Nurnberg and the hope is that Halep starts slowly to get in on her in-play. But, she has started like an absolute train the last two matches and completely blitzed Candela in 53 minutes yesterday. A loss of service early on will be like gold dust, failing that the hope is that Voskoboeva serves first, wins, and Halep increases to around 1.4/1.45. This would then be a great price if you want to take a position as early as possible. Halep is currently 1.32 to win from the off.

And England play Sri Lanka at 1pm, again this one is probably best left to watch for a while. 1.61 for England isn't great, but they will undoubtedly play their home conditions better. An early wicket for Sri Lanka would be good, or a decent Sri Lanka start with the bat could see England drift to 1.8s if you want an England angle.

Latest on Laudrup

BBC F1 technical analyst Gary Anderson reviews the season so far

In brief

Lots of good trades today as I hit +£190 from last week, up around £130 on the day. Plenty of ups and downs as per usual Halep being a great bet. Backed at both 6-0 in a set and a second set winner, and she came through in flying colours against Min. Then she played a second match of the day and won convincingly with -3.5 games cleaning up v Candela, 6-2 6-1. The liquidity was shocking again and so could only match a half decent amount, but this -3.5 was there for the taking.

Flipkens is always heart in your mouth stuff, and today was no different. Trying to trade her is a practical impossibility. She creates so many openings but also blows a lot, and it's probably best to back her after her usual set down nonsense, only for her to come back to virtually the brink of victory, before doing her best to throw the thing away again. She has been removed from Shit List to Jury's Out though after her shambles prior to Hampton, where she did spectacularly throw that one; so there's progress there at least.

In the cricket the game between NZ and Aus was abandoned, which was probably a good thing as D/L would have smashed NZ chasing the Aussie target.

And a last bet of the night netted £40 profit with Las Palmas scoring a 85th minute equaliser to land a +0.5 against Almeria. Jumped on around the 60-65 minutes at 3.03.

Basic beats Janowicz

Asia World Cup Qualification. South Korea v Uzbekistan. 12pm.

The top two in their group meet today and I'm banking on a rather cagey affair. South Korea will want no slip ups on their smooth road to qualifying and will see Uzbekistan as the greatest threat for a loss, so they will probably approach this game with more respect than any of the other matches they have played. Uzbekistan are no mugs and can score a goal. If they can score first then it brings the +1 bet as a firm favourite. The game lies somewhere between a draw and one goal home side win, so I think that Uzbekistan on the AH represents a decent chance of return.

Uzbekistan to beat South Korea +1AH (1.91)

WTA Nurnberg - Simona Halep to win E/W

I was extremely disappointed that Halep went out in the first round of the French Open. I really do think the organisers botched the rankings up something quite badly. Halep was a form horse going into the event, but she drew Carla Suarez Novarro the Argentine veteran who ran out a winner in 3 sets.  Although Novarro is a tremendous match player, Halep had more potential to go further in the competition. She needs more pressure envorinments to get her game somewhere near where she was when she burst onto the junior scene. This week is a perfect opportunity to win this event, with Jankovic being the other woman in her way. Jankovic-Halep final? It could be.

ICC Cricket. Pakistan and most sixes.

A must win game for both teams, but I feel that Pakistan possess more dynamic variation. Steyn is doubtful, but South Africa may opt for two spinners anyway. Meanwhile Pakistan will need their batting to fire and need to be more consistent. Something leveled at them for a generation. In the previous matches in May, Pakistan edged the six encounter. South Africa have de Villiers and David Miller, but the Pakistani's like a six themselves.

Morning thoughts. Daniel Brands and Jamie Hampton tennis double

Pretty low key today in all honesty. There are a few good youth games on later tonight as well as a Super League and Pakistan v South Africa (1pm start). But for now I'm going with a grass season double with Daniel Brands in action against Jan Hernych and Jamie Hampton playing Su-Wei Hsieh.

Brands can take a great deal of heart over his display with Nadal before the latter went through the gears, but he must be encouraged by this. Meanwhile Hampton is playing pretty well herself before losing in the last 16 to Jankovic. So it's kind of up to both of these to lose pretty spectacularly I think. They should have more than enough for their opponents.

Today's thoughts. Hamilton, U21s and Harry English

Lewis Hamilton is second on the grid and nobody is talking about him. The British have a huge love affair with Canada in recent years with Hamilton winning three times there. He was a smidge away from finishing fastest yesterday and I reckon that 2.50 for a podium finish is well within his range.

In the Saint Jude Classic Harry English is still well placed to win. He has the edge I believe over other major favourite Shawn Stefani in that he is much more accustomed to being at the top of the field on recent form. He's one shot down after a slightly disappointing third round but I think Stefani saved his best for that third round to put him into contention.

The Netherlands should beat Russia who will have to come and attack them. And also Germany, after their first game loss will have to come out after the Spanish. In the latter there must be goals.

Lewis Hamilton podium finish Canadian GP (2.5)

Today's betting thoughts

Not much action for me today, feeling a little sombre. Couple of last minutes goals yesterday hit me back to break even from prominent positions and unlikely unders/overs landed when cashed out. That's the name of the game. China I think will beat Uzbekistan in today's international friendly, this is 2.2 with Bet365. Ideally, we'd want an Uzbekistan very early goal, or the game to drift to 0-0 at HT if you plan to get on China in play.

Really looking forward to the tennis action. Sharapova is 1.9 with MarathonBet and that's where my money would go if I was on it. Sharapova has had the harder of the two draws, and that match yesterday with Jankovic will only put her in even better stead I believe if she goes a set down. An Azarenka break of Sharapova serve early in the first may be just enough to give you that bit more value if you plan to back Sharapova anyway.

Glamorgan scored over 300 yesterday with the loss of just 5 wickets. They should push on to around 450. One good first innings score from Gloucester though and the draw will then look extremely likely. With no pressure of a run-chase and perfect batting conditions, the draw at 1.8 on Betfair looks half decent. If you fancy Glamorgan to knock over Gloucetershire though, then 1.77 also looks tempting, personally I think the former has more chance of landing.

In the other tennis match, then the only viable hope is that Williams goes a set down against Errani. Even then you may only get odds of 1.3-1.4 for her to win the match though. A set down and a break down early in the second would be like gold dust, I suggest you take it if that happens.

I also think Armenia U21s will beat Iceland U21s at 2.22 in the youth football qualifiers.

China v Uzbekistan

International Friendly, 12.35pm.
China to win, 2.20.

England v New Zealand

3rd ODI International, 2pm.
New Zealand to win, 2.48.
New Zealand to hit most sixes, 1.9.

A few games to keep an eye on

I can't see anything concrete today, so it may be a day of watching as much in-play as possible for an angle. These are what I am looking at -

Some stand out games would be England U21 v Italy U21, Uruguay v France (4 consecutive 0-0s), and the tennis matches. Djokovic obviously needs to lose the first set preferably along with Nadal, Sharapova and Azarenka. Wawrinka is currently 12.5 on the exchanges if you fancy him to the business today. Perhaps the best value bet of the day is New Zealand to beat England. New Zealand are a whopping 2.48!

Japan-Australia BTTS, Federer/Radwanska double

Backing Japan-Australia BTTS at evens in the World Cup Qualification match at 11.30am, and a Radwanska/Federer Roland Garros double at 2.47.

Graham Napier - 4 wickets in 4 balls v Surrey

Miami Heat v Indiana Pacers (Game 7)

The Heat schooled the Pacers in the final game of the semi final series, winning the Heat -7.5 points (2.13) bet comfortably. James was at it again, showing remarkable form, but it was the entire Heat defense that helped them to this massive win and a place in the final against San Antonio Spurs.

Livorno v Empoli

Serie B Play Off, 7.45pm.
Over 2.5 goals, 2.18.

Morning thoughts - French and J League 2

Gifu +0.5 at 2.03 at home to Okayama looks half decent, as does Kevin Anderson to win a set v Ferrer (1.81). And a great match is promised between Kerber and Kuznetsova, in which   I feel Kerber at 1.78 is a good shout.

Grasshoppers v Lausanne

Swiss Super League, 7.30pm.
Lausanne, +1.5, 1.86.

Jeonbuk Motors v Busan lPark

South Korean K League, 9am.
Busan, +0.75, 1.9.

La Liga Final Day - Espanyol and Vallodolid both over evens +1AH

Just some food for thought and a test for the 'motivationalists' out there. I  already looked at first versus second in the Chinese S League yesterday, and thought that the +1.5AH was a fair bet. But I'm also going to see what happens in the two important La Liga games today, Celta Vigo-Espanyol and Mallorca-Vallodolid. Both are around the over evens mark for the away side +1, Espanyol being 2.16 and Vallodolid 2.17. Another acid test for motivation v league placement.
