England fightback. Europa Qualifying. Simona Halep in Bucharest

England start the day on 1.73 to win the First Test after reducing the visitors to 75/4 at the end of day one. Anyone backing England pre match would already be in the green (SP around evens). Much depends on the first session of today; if England can eek out a few more in the first hour then you'd think it's match over.

There's lots of qualifying matches for the Europa League, but I didn't particularly have a great set of results. Lots of teams won on the stats but ended up losing, so the quality on display may not be worth your money. One pick may be worth it is Levadia Tallinn v Bala Town. Levadia are around evens for the -1 handicap and dominated the last match but just didn't win. I think they'll win comfortably today.

Simona Halep was around the 1.84 mark this morning to win the Bucharest tournament but that's been snapped up already. Saying that, I've JUST had 1.85 matched to win it. The only person to stand in her way will be Annika Beck who I think Halep should have the measure of. I have bitched a bit about the Halep odds and they have been ridiculous (I'm talking 1.06's - Serena territory) for matches, but she has dominated so I guess the bookies have been intimidated by her current form.

Velez Sarsfield v Tigre

WIN 1-2
Argentinian Torneo Final, 12.05am
£20, BTTS, 2.10.
£20, Over 2.5 goals, 2.20.

Two bets from the Argentinian league tonight, both reliant on goals. Velez haven't been the most score free side in the league, indeed they are normally about as dull as you can get preferring a more defensive approach. But I feel that they need to press on and try and win some points as they are languishing near the bottom. This may force their hand into playing a more attacking game, especially at home.

Tigre on the other hand, away from home most certainly, like to try their arm out. They have a 3.8 goals scored and conceded combination away from home, with 80% of matches resulting in over 2.5 goals. They don't just shut up shop against the big teams either, as they have a 3-1 loss and a 3-2 loss to Newells and River Plate respectively.

Either way, if Velez try and play a counter game and get the first goal then Tigre won't stop. And if Tigre score the first, then Velez will have to come out of their shell. Really looking forward to this.

ANALYSIS

Plenty of cards and action. Tigres were pretty much them to a tee away from home, looking to attack early on. They got the goal then contained for a little. Velez were fortunate with a penalty which prompted another push from Tigres for 2-1. Velez should have scored with 15 minutes left when their striker missed from two yards out. Velez had the possession and territory but Tigres were well worth the points being far more direct than their more cautious opposition.

Cordoba v All Boys

Copa Argentinia, 10pm
£20, All Boys, 1.444

Underdogs home v favourites away. All Boys should win quite comfortably.

All Boys v San Martin

Argentinian Torneo Final
£10, All Boys, 2.18

All Boys have good form going into this game and even better home form. San Martin don't like to travel and taking anything from this game will prove difficult I believe. At 2.18 for the home team, I'm going for them.

Velez v Newells

Argentinian Torneo Final
£10, Newells DNB, 2.00

Velez have lost 4 from 9 games this season and their home form is 1-2-1 from 4 games. Their last 2 home games they have drawn against Estudiantes and San Lorenzo, Estudiantes being bottom of the table and San Lorenzo 13th. Newells on the other hand sit 2nd in the league behind Lanus and boast an impressive away record with 10 points from 12. Newells on the DNB looks very tasty.
